Employee Commuting Incentive Program
The Edendale is committed to promoting sustainability and encourages its employees to adopt eco-friendly commuting methods. These include, but are not limited to, walking, biking, using public transit, or carpooling to work. By supporting these practices, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while fostering a healthier and more connected community.
- Transit Subsidies: Employees who use public transit will receive a monthly subsidy to offset commuting costs. The subsidy amount will be based on the type of public transit used and the distance traveled.
- Bicycle Support: Employees who commute by bike will also be eligible for an annual reimbursement for bike-related expenses such as maintenance, locks, and safety equipment, up to a specified limit.
- Carpool Incentives: Priority parking spaces are designated for carpool participants.
- Walking Promotion: Employees living within a 2-mile radius of the workplace are encouraged to walk to work. To support this, employees who commute by walking will be eligible for wellness-related benefits, such as discounts on health programs or free access to wellness events.
Designated Driver Program
The Edendale encourages its patrons to designate a driver when enjoying an alcoholic beverage with their meal. We are proud to offer complimentary soda, coffee, and tea to those who agree to be the designated driver for their group. We have this program printed on all our drink menus.
